If I only have 5 minutes a day to exercise, should I even bother? Of course!! We all heard of the 10,000 steps a day program. Well, it starts here in your living room. I challenge you to march in place for 5 minutes a day for 5 days. You can add a minute a day for an extra challenge. In addition, do a plank for 10 second every morning. This is a great way to kick start your day.

After the holidays, now what?
Now that the kids are in back in school and all of the holidays are over and things seem to be back to normal, how many of you have stepped on the scale? Or put on those jeans again? Have you gained a little weight in past week? Don't worry, the holidays are hard for many people, you are not the only one. Workout and diet routines can be reestablished again and again. In fact, I am asked over and over again the same question. "When is the best time to work out, mornings, afternoons or evenings?" The answer is really quite simple. The best time to workout is the time that you will actually commit to working out. This is different for everyone. Some people may limp most ike to wake up at 5 am while others like to get to wind down at the end of the day with a nice jog. Everyones different. Another question that is asked over and over again, " How much exercise do I really need to do?" Well, that's a loaded question. You do what you can. Minimally, 3 times a week for at east 20 minutes. Even if you do a plank for 30 seconds a day, that is better than nothing.
